Blog – Frank in Africa ‘08
Africa | Blog | Thoughts - September 7th, 2009
During the Virus Free Generation Hip-Hop Tour I attempted to keep a blog. Because Internet isn’t a sure thing in Africa, and without much free time it soon became a hard task to keep up to date. And after my laptop crashed because I killed a mosquito (read about it here) it got even harder, but in the end it turned out to be a success (with 4300 unique visitors).
I recently had the chance to read it all again myself. It’s an interesting read (with lots of typos) and a nice collection of my personal experiences and thoughts in Africa, not only covering the tour but also my personal expeditions. There’s a lot to read and see on the site, but these are some of the longer and better posts:
It’s hot in Paradise – Tanzania
I asked for a Hammer they gave me a Rock – Malawi
Namibia Windhoek and Keetmanshoop
Devils Peak – South Africa
